A guided walk through the forest to a spectacular viewpoint, overlooking the border-village of Karesuando. From here, you may be lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights dancing above the village.

Bring to life the highlights and landmarks of True Lapland via the thrill of the snowmobile. Zip along frozen rivers, weave across the Arctic tundra, and delve into the pristine snow scenes that stretch to the horizon. Based at the foot of the snow-capped Lyngen Alps, and perched on the edge of Lake Kilpis, Kilpisjarvi is often cited as a favourite Lapland resort and is the perfect base from which to explore the most northern parts of True Lapland.
A highlight of this tour is visiting the ‘three borders’ point, where Norway, Finland and Sweden meet – circle around all three countries in less than
30 seconds! All snowmobile drivers should be aged 17 or above and hold a valid driving licence.

Create the Swedish Lapland getaway in the stunning region of Lulea that your family has been dreaming of with this ‘Brändön Lodge Pick and Mix’ activity holiday. You will be based in a cosy winter cottage overlooking the enchanting frozen Bay of Bothnia with white landscapes all around. The lodge is a welcoming wooden building with a comfy lounge area and you will enjoy your meals in the authentic restaurant upstairs.
Choose from a selection of must-try winter activities, including snowmobiling and husky sledding through the white wilderness, learning how to ice fish like a local, and picking up winter skills like a real explorer. Brändön is well-placed for Northern Lights displays, so you can take a sled tour in search of the Aurora or go looking for them on snowshoes.

Malangen Resort is one of our favourite Norway resorts, and has picked up rave reviews from our clients, too, largely due to its remote, fjordside location. Relaxed and isolated, it’s the perfect place to spend some time beneath the piercing blues of the Norwegian winter sky and, as it’s so far from any major settlements, a great spot from which to see the Northern Lights.
